Fall 2025 Classes!

We are excited to offer after-school classes for students aged 4-17 this Fall! Classes are divided by age range and will run from August 11th through December 19th. All classes will be at our new location - 1635 W Broad St. Athens, GA!!!

All of our classes offer a deep enrichment model of 7 students to 1 teacher, and classes are capped at 20 students or less, depending on the subject matter! We do everything we can to ensure we cater to the specific needs of all of our students, and rich communication with parents is key to Little Characters!

New to Little Characters? Your first class is always free! All classes can be paid for up front for the semester, or in five monthly installments. Please click here to see our tuition guidelines and discounts!

The last day to register for Produce a Show classes is September 1st and the last day to register for all other classes is October 1st! All classes will have a mid-semester showcase and will end with a big show at the end of the semester!

Monday Classes

  • ABC’s of Theater

    3:30-4:15pm | 4-6 year olds

    $85/month + $30 performance fee

    This class is for the littlest characters who show a lot of interest in performing and playing pretend! Come along with us on a journey through the alphabet to learn all about the theater while integrating games, activities, and songs!

  • Intro to Theater

    4:30-5:15pm | 7-10 years old

    $85/month + $30 performance fee

    This course will broaden your Little Characters’ view of all things theater! We will cover emotions, voice, movement, character exploration and more onstage while working individually and in groups to build confidence, teamwork and individualism!

  • Produce a Show 7-10 Year Olds

    5:30-6:45pm | 7-10 Year Olds

    $120/month + $50 performance fee

    This class is for creative minds and mini producers! We will work with the students to create their own story, turn it into a script, and spend the semester preparing to bring it to life at the end of the semester. Got a student that is more interested in backstage work? Students can choose how much they want to spend time in the spotlight or working it, as we are combining acting and technical theater forces this semester!

    6:45-8:00pm | 11-17 Year Olds

    $120/month + $50 performance fee

    This class is for creative minds and mini producers! We will work with the students to create their own story, turn it into a script, and spend the semester preparing to bring it to life at the end of the semester. Got a student that is more interested in backstage work? Students can choose how much they want to spend time in the spotlight or working it, as we are combining acting and technical theater forces this semester!

Tuesday Classes

  • Songs for the Stage

    5:30-6:30pm | 11-17 year olds

    $100/month + $30 performance fee

    Does your kid want to up their performance skills and add a little rhythm to their repertoire? This class is for young actors looking to dip their toes into the wonderful world of music and musical theatre. Students will work on a variety of songs from many different musicals, ranging from classics like the Sound of Music to contemporary works like Beetlejuice. Students will also receive basic music theory and sight-singing instruction.

Wednesday Classes

  • Elementary Improv

    5:15-6:00pm | 6-10 year olds

    $85/month + $15 performance fee

    Students learn to think on their feet, unleash creativity, and embrace spontaneity through a series of playful and engaging exercises and games.

  • Intermediate Improv

    6:00-7:00pm | 8-16 year olds

    $100/month + $15 Performance Fee

    Have some experience with Improv and want to dive deeper? This class is for you. We will dig into storytelling, rhyming, puns and more! Level 2 class - must have prior experience in Improv.

  • Scenes and Monologues

    7:00-8:00pm | 11-17 Year Olds

    $100/month + $30 Performance Fee

    Dig deep into characterization and script analysis by studying, acting out, and writing scenes and Monologues! This is a Level 2 class - students must have some prior experience in theater.

Thursday Classes

  • Film 101

    5:30-6:30pm | 6-10 year olds

    $100/month + $30 Materials Fee

    Explore acting behind the camera, create short film storylines, and learn how a film comes to life! Students will explore storytelling, scriptwriting, directing, acting, camera work, special effects, and basic editing. Activities will range from storyboarding to mini-film production.

  • Film 102

    6:30-7:30pm | 11-17 year olds

    $100/month + $30 Materials Fee

    Dive deeper into film production! Students will develop their talent for acting on screen and learn how to craft a cohesive short film storyboard. With opportunity to learn how films come to life behind the scenes, from filming, working a camera, and editing. This is a level 2 class; students should have some prior experience with film.
